BEHOLD THE NEW JERUSALEM

Rev. 21:2-5

Behold the new Jerusalem: the holy Bride of Christ, 

Coming from heaven to meet her Groom. 

Prepare for the wedding feast.

1. This is the dwelling of God among us. 

We will be His people, 

And He will be our God.   [chorus]

2. God will wipe every tear from our eyes.  

No more death or mourning or pain; 

The former world has passed away.  [chorus]

3. "Behold, I make all things new!"   [chorus]

THE ROCK

Psalm 127; Matt. 7:24-27

1. Unless the Lord builds the house, 

The work is done all in vain.  

Unless our work is done for Him, 

There is little to be gained.  

CHORUS

The Rock that we should build upon:  

His name is Jesus Christ.  

He gave His life to set us free:  

A living, a living sacrifice.

2. We work so hard; we toil and sweat; 

We worry, and we weep.  

And yet the Lord provides for us 

Even while we sleep.  [CHORUS]

3. We'll build our house upon the Rock; 

Securely it will stand. 

The wise, they build upon the Rock;  

The fools: upon the sand.   [CHORUS]
